From Series: "Outside In"
John Wesley wrote about the “outward signs, words, or actions ordained of God, and appointed for this end – to be the ordinary channels…[of] preventing, justifying, or sanctifying grace.” These are the practices, habits, and disciplines that directly impact our spiritual formation as disciples of Christ. When we develop a healthy spiritual rhythm in our everyday routines, we create space for the Holy Spirit to draw us deeper into the love and grace of God. Conversely, when we neglect our spiritual practices, we grow more and more disconnected over time from the presence of God in our lives. In this series, we will explore how the Holy Spirit works through four key practices that become outward signs of an inward grace.
